How We Review Tools
What we check, where our facts come from, and how we make money.
What we cover
ArchPulse lists 50 AI tools used in architecture and interior design. 12 of them have an in-depth profile with pricing, strengths, limits and sources. The rest have a short listing only, and we say so on the homepage. The blog covers questions architects ask about these tools: what they cost, what hardware they need, and how they compare.
How tools are chosen
We add tools that are relevant to architects, interior designers or visualisation work. Anyone can suggest a tool, but a suggestion doesn't guarantee a listing, and no tool can pay for a listing, a position in a comparison, or a better write-up.
What we check
- The vendor's own pages first. Features, plans, platforms and requirements come from the official website, pricing page and documentation.
- Independent sources for the weaknesses. Where we describe problems or limits, we use named independent reviews and say who reported them.
- Sources on the page. In-depth tool profiles end with a list of the sources we used.
- No invented numbers. We don't publish our own star ratings. A third-party rating only appears when we can name and link its source.
Prices
Prices are taken from the vendor's official pricing page and shown with the month we checked them (“Pricing checked” on tool pages, or a dated note in articles). Prices are in US dollars unless a vendor only publishes another currency. They change often, so confirm on the vendor's site before you buy.
Hands-on testing
Unless a page says otherwise, a profile is based on the vendor's published information and independent reviews, not on our own testing. When we have tested a tool ourselves, the page will say so and describe what we did.
Dates
Articles show the date they were published. We don't change dates to make a page look fresher; a date only changes when the content does.
How we make money
ArchPulse is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say in what we write. We don't currently use affiliate links. If we add any, the page that contains them will say so before the first link.
Corrections
If you spot a wrong price, an outdated feature or any other error, email hello@archpulse.co with the page and what's wrong. We check it against the vendor's site and fix it.
